My family does not support my being in the LGBTQIA community. They actually are opposed to it. They tell me every day that its disgusting and that it’s sinful and I’ll go to hell for liking women.
I moved out when I was seventeen, and in January I moved back in with them because I couldn’t handle everything that was going on. Every day one of my five siblings tells me to go back to Minnesota. My little brother Charlie (the black baby in the picture) is now 8 and he constantly physically attacks me and tells me that I’m not his sister and to leave. My other siblings make it very obvious and clear that they don’t want me here and my parents tell me constantly that they’re gonna kick me out soon.
I’ve been saving every penny for a bus ticket to Oregon to stay with my best friend and today I found this picture in my sisters’ room ON DISPLAY. Not hidden. On display. They cut my face out of the picture.

And that… That was just the last straw.
I don’t care if anyone reblogs this or whatever, I don’t wanna get popular, I just want people to know that this is not what a family looks like. This is not something people should have to go through.

Jorge was abandoned by his guide in the beginning of May while crossing north. He had been vomiting and had severe abdominal cramping. His full name is Jorge Humberto Menjivar Guardado. He is 40 years old.

He left El Salvador on April 5 and stayed in Reynosa until April 29. His family says he was headed to Houston, Texas.

No one has had word of him since he left Reynosa.

Sometimes I feel really alone and isolated.Two of my closest friends moved away last year. My boyfriend also moved to another country. My only other real friend lives in another country as well. I don’t really have any other friends and I’ve pretty much become a loner. It’s become really hard. Like really hard.

Months have gone by and I was so used to having friends around and now I am my own company and it’s just not the same. I feel like I’ve just been getting more and more depressed. I’m missing classes and staying in bed all day. I’m 22 and didn’t drink until about 2 months ago. I never drank because I’ve struggled with depression most of my life and I know I can be self destructive so I always avoided it. Now I’m starting to drink in my room by myself and I don’t even know why.

I really want to do well and finish my course and finish all of my assignments. I don’t want to fuck up. I just wish I had someone to turn to or something. Like sincerely being there for me. I don’t know. I’m just losing sleep and motivation and everything.

Just feels like everyone leaves. I keep telling myself I should just be strong but now it just sounds stupid and unrealistic. I need to ‘get up’ in a few hours to get a 2 hour bus ride since I have a test in my first class. I know I’ll barely get any sleep. Fuck.
